Job details Location: 1376 Columbia St, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5X8 Wage: $18.00 per hour / 40 hours per week Vacancies: 5 positions available Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience Will train On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors Wet/damp Hot Responsibilities Tasks Harvest seedlings Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants Plant bulbs and seeds Pot and re-pot plants Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings Prepare soil, plant, seed, transplant, seedlings, and rooted cuttings. Protect young trees from the winter weather. Inspect plants for pests and treat them to avoid the disease to spread to other trees. Water small trees regularly ensuring that the soil is dry between each watering. Clean, maintain and store tools and equipment daily. Plant seedlings on the ground when they reach 6 in tall. Other general farm duties as assigned.
