Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and file all tax returns accurately and on schedule, including federal, state, and international submissions.
Design and execute tax planning initiatives aimed at reducing the organizations overall tax burden while maintaining full compliance with applicable laws.
Compile and review financial statements, tax provisions, and disclosures for external reporting in line with accounting and taxation standards.
Lead, train, and support a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and ensuring smooth departmental operations.
Oversee tax audits and inquiries from authorities, coordinating with external auditors and legal advisors when required.
Keep current with evolving tax legislation, research complex tax matters, and advise on their implications for the organization.
Establish and manage transfer pricing policies and documentation to meet international regulatory requirements.
Identify and maximize opportunities for tax credits, deductions, and incentives to optimize tax efficiency.
Evaluate and mitigate tax-related risks, ensuring alignment with the organizations risk management strategy.
Work collaboratively with departments such as legal, finance, and operations to address tax considerations in business decisions and transactions.

Education:
Bachelors degree in commerce or accounting
9+ years of accounting experience with 5+ years in a leadership role
Experience with CCH Axcess, IFIRM application suites preferred
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in order to research and escalate issues
Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
Strong English communication skills, verbal and written
Experience:
Applicant must hold adequate knowledge in accounting procedures and at least 9 years of relevant accounting experience and direct work experience working as an accountant completing the following task:
Preparing and reviewing audit plans.
Conducting internal controls review.
Preparing and overseeing company budget.
Assessing business financial risk.
Analyzing financial reports.

Wages and Work Schedule:
Wages: $63.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shift from 10 am to 6 pm. (Permanent/Full time)
With 37.5 hours per week with 30 minutes lunch break
