STO Orthodontists is seeking an enthusiastic Sterilization Technician, to join our thriving practice. This is a newly created position, reflecting our practice’s continued growth and patient demand.

This is a one-year contract position, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

• Compensation: Expected wage of $18-20/hr.
• Work Schedule: 3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday at the Scarborough Town Centre location only

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Maintain a spotless, well-stocked clinic by sterilizing instruments, prepping trays, and ensuring treatment areas are clean and ready
• Support chairside hygienists by helping with cleaning chairs after each patient, photography, stocking supplies, and preparing materials for patient care
• Manage sterilization systems—change ultrasonic and cold sterilization solutions, polish and oil instruments, and monitor equipment
• Keep hygiene areas and bathrooms clean, organized and stocked
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth patient flow and a safe, welcoming environment for all

• Experience within a dental/medical clinical setting is an asset
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community
• Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills
