Your new role will be
We are looking for a dynamic and well-organized Project Engineer to join our Engineering Department. This pivotal position is the link between Atlas Copco and our customers. The candidate is expected to execute and manage projects efficiently and provide technical and application support to the sales force. This position can be based in St-Laurent (QC), Quebec (QC), Edmonton (AB), or Calgary (AB).
The main activities you’ll take care of
Execute and manage both pre-award and post-award tasks related to projects in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring timely completion and managing costs in line with business expectations.
Review purchase orders and customer specifications to ensure proper execution of contracts.
Prepare and supply technical documentation as required by the contract, including approval drawings, final project manuals, and customized documentation.
Organize kick-off meetings with sales, vendors, and attend project-related meetings.
Review and submit documents and drawings to and from vendors.
Maintain accurate, accessible project records, ensuring contract execution adheres to company procedures, quality policies, and legal requirements.
Manage and interact with various internal functions such as product teams, marketing, sales, finance, logistics, and service departments.
Provide internal technical product support to the sales department.

What will help you succeed in your new role
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
7 years of experience as a Project Engineer or relevant experience.
Work experience and knowledge of compressors are required.
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken); fluency in French is required for Quebec-based positions.
Member of the Order of Engineers or intent to become a member within the next year.
Knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
Ability to manage multiple technical contracts effectively.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of air compressors and air dryer products is an asset.
Mechanical and electrical regulatory knowledge of CRN (Canadian Registration Number) and CSA/UL/cUL (Canadian electrical approvals) is also an asset.
