Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with extensive experience in non-profit bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online. This part-time contract position is a great opportunity for bookkeepers who manage multiple accounts. The role involves both historical reconciliation and ongoing bookkeeping responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and maintain financial records.
• Reconcile and balance books, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Enter and reconcile transactions including bills, payments, receivables, and payables.
• Tag and classify each transaction appropriately.
• Perform two major tasks:
• Process and enter past transactions to balance books from 2020-2024.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books moving forward.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and audits.
• Communicate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience in non-profit bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Excellent communication skills for video call check-ins.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information.

Compensation:

• Monthly contract: $500/month to be invoiced.

Work Environment:

• Part-time remote position with required video call check-ins.

• Access to all necessary banking information, bills, and QuickBooks Online.
