Job Summary: A4H Sports is seeking a creative and organized Art & STEM Lesson Planner to design engaging and educational lesson plans for our summer camp program. The ideal candidate will develop a comprehensive set of 5-10 lessons per week that integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Art for a diverse group of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create 5-10 engaging and educational lessons per week.
- Integrate STEM and Art concepts into each lesson plan.
- Ensure lesson plans are age-appropriate and engaging for summer camp participants.
- Collaborate with camp staff to understand the needs and interests of the campers.
- Adjust lesson plans based on feedback and the evolving needs of the program.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from teachers college.
- Strong background in both STEM and Art education.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to create lesson plans that are both educational and engaging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lesson planning or curriculum development.
- Experience working in a camp or similar educational setting.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
