Sweet Thea Bakery are looking for someone with barista experience at our coffee shop at the B.C. Ferries Terminal at Tsawwassen. We are looking for someone energetic and outgoing - during the summer this is the busiest coffee shop in B.C. , and you have to be skilled at multi-tasking and customer management.
We are looking for someone local, and NOT accepting overseas applicants. We will not review applications from more than 30km from the job site - and will not review resumes from the north side of the George Massey tunnel, or New Westminster, Coquitlam etc - the commute is too unreliable. If you are in Surrey you must be able to drive to work; public transit is diffiuclt.
We serve Parallel 49 coffee, and our popular baked goods - breakfast sandwiches, croissants, macaron, hand pies, scones and muffins .
You will be required to make drinks and serve customers; and in the last hour when it is typically slower you will be required to do some inventory, cleaning and preparation for the next day.
This is a very high-traffic location, and customers tip generously. We will have full and part time positions available going into the summer.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
