Taco Lupita is a Tijuana-style taco concept that represents authentic, delicious tacos made with fresh corn tortillas, beautifully seasoned meats and vegetables, and in-house hot sauces. It features simple but ingredient-driven authentic Tacos. Taco Lupita is a celebratory concept that instantly makes guests happy through the experiences it creates for them.

Taco Lupita is a concept that will be part of the new Waterworks Food Hall. Waterworks is a residential and mixed-use real estate development in a transformed 1930’s 1930s-era public utilities building featuring stylish city condos, a beautiful food hall, and a fully outfitted YMCA, all connected to St. Andrew’s Playground. Located in the heart of Toronto near the dynamic King West corridor, Waterworks is an artful blend of heritage industrial architecture and modernism where the early century meets cool contemporary. The Waterworks food hall is designed to be more than a destination for good food from local merchants; it is a social centerpiece of the community. It is a place where co-workers can meet for lunch, you can grab a morning coffee, or take a date for dinner.

Who You Are

As an employee of Taco Lupita, you act as a guide through the Taco Lupita experience, ensuring each guest receives quality service and dedication while assisting them with menu selection, beverage choices, and payment processing.

Taco Lupita servers can create a memorable and lasting impression by greeting and addressing every guest with the utmost energy and friendly demeanor, providing detailed direction and assistance through the ordering process and ensuring fast and efficient service.

Taco Lupita servers are encouraged to engage with the guests in conversation as well as live by our brand values.

What You’ll Do

• Be enthusiastic, professional, and hospitable
• Provide suggestions/recommendations for food and beverages based on guest wants or needs
• Have extensive knowledge on menu and ingredient nutritional qualities
• Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed

• Operational standards adherence for execution, organization, and cleanliness

Skills - Experience - Education

• 
  Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
• Minimum of 1 years experience in a quick-service restaurant environment
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 40lbs, must be able to stoop and bend
• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
