Schedule: Flexible
A loving family with a 6-month-old daughter is looking for a mother’s helper/nanny. They live in Southlands, Vancouver, and own an upscale equestrian property in Southern California.
A full-time position (4-5 days per week, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) is available to someone who is interested in taking on the full housekeeping work or is an equestrian who could help with horses. The full-time equestrian role requires a relatively unique combination of skills and compensation for the right person will be reflective of that.
The family is looking for assistance with the care of the child when the mom is otherwise occupied. You will be working closely with her as she is an involved parent. Duties will include stroller walks, nap time, and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities. In addition, the successful candidate will either handle all the housekeeping work or be an equestrian who could help with horses.
The ideal person is someone who is nurturing, maternal, reliable, and trustworthy. You are able to work closely with the mother while still being independent enough to manage your time and contribute to the household. Common sense and judgment are key personal attributes, particularly being respectful of the mother’s relationship and involvement with her child.
The family has two well-trained dogs and would appreciate someone who is comfortable taking them for walks.
It would be a big plus if the candidate could occasionally work night shifts. Additional compensation would be provided.
An ability and willingness to travel is also a bonus.
Driving is not required for this position.
