Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a machinist to run our manual lathe. This position involves machining a variety of hydraulic components but primarily cylinder barrels and rods. We will provide training on our product line but a good working knowledge of manual machining is essential. The successful candidate must be self motivated and willing to work with our team to meet deadlines. This is a permanent, full-time position from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends.

Responsibilities

- Operate a manual lathe to produce a finished product from raw materials.

- Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.

- Monitors machine performance to ensure consistent dimensioning of parts produced.

- Perform required quality checks on completed parts to ensure specifications are met.

- Read drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece and sequence of operations
