Job Purpose:

To follow procedures of packaging, shipping & receiving of safe and high-quality product; To ensure packaging meets or exceeds efficiency, company quality standards and that facilities and processes conform to GMP standards; To ensure all equipment, utensils and premises are cleaned and sanitized in the proper manner to prevent contamination of food, as described in Sanitation Manual..

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

• Operating/driving Forklifts
• Packaging of granular sugar in 1000kg bulk bags
• Loading bulk sugar onto trailers
• Loading liquid sugar tankers
• Label and monitor packaged product in the warehouse
• Responsible for staging of refined totes, and storage of refined totes.
• Responsible for the general upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse and equipment and utensils that are stationed/used in the warehouse.
• Emptying of garbage and waste materials
• Responsible for food safety, mainly preventing cross contamination and for food safety legality.
• Responsible for reporting food safety issues to Quality Assurance team which will initiate appropriate corrective action.
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Any other warehouse duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.29 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
