We are seeking a reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, freight handling, forklift operation, and commercial driving.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport/pick up goods and materials to designated locations

• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind.

• Maintain and monitor vehicle maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes.

• Deliver via the most effective route to ensure on time delivery/pickups complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and the Agency’s needs.

• Maintain communication with the Supervisor during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received

• Record the contact information of vendor partners

• Follow the regular schedule provided or created by the Supervisor

• Maintain a safe driving record free of violations

• Follow company policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in driving, freight handling and forklift operation

• Able to read a map and accurately plan a route

• Have and maintain a cell phone

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Professional demeanor

• Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures

• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills

• Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must provide a clean driver’s abstract. Minimum 3 years with a D or better license.
