Digital Marketing Execution Specialist

Job Purpose

Glacier FarmMedia (“GFM”) is a dynamic company in the Canadian agriculture industry that connects with farmers through a variety of regional and specialty media franchises, a listings marketplace for the sale of farm equipment, leading industry events like Ag in Motion and Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and customized offerings for Weather and Market analysis and insights.

This role is an 18-month fixed-term contract for an Individual Contributor who will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.

In this role, reporting directly to the Marketing Communications Manager, the primary responsibility is to implement marketing campaigns across a range of digital platforms to achieve organizational goals.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for building and executing targeted digital marketing campaigns such as by email, social media, website, or app.
• Responsible for leveraging digital demographic targeting tools to reach and engage with a specific segment or audience.
• Analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities in campaign execution.
• Report on campaign results, with a keen ability to be agile to optimize performance.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the Marketing Communications Manager, ensuring seamless delivery of commitments.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or Agriculture; comparable education or experience will be considered.
• Proven track record in executing digital-focused marketing plans with limited supervision
• Recent experience managing digital marketing platforms for the execution of campaigns, with an interest in staying apprised of trends in consumer habits and tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365
• Strategic thinker with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills with a desire to foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Working Conditions

• This position is fully remote.
• Occasional travel to events and trade shows within Canada may be required. The ability to air travel and have a valid passport is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
