MGG Chimney Sweep (www.mggchimneysweep.com) is a high quality chimney service company that wants to keep your family safe and warm. We provide chimney sweep, chimney repair, chimney installation, liners, fireplaces, insert and wood stoves, rain caps, animal removal and chimney inspections.

We are seeking a skilled Chimney Sweep Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in repair, installation of chimney, fireplaces and wood stoves and various construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Perform chimney inspections and cleanings to ensure safe and efficient operation

· Remove debris, creosote, and other obstructions from chimneys

· Repair or replace components of a wood burning system for compliance

· Install or repair chimney caps and dampers

· Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or improvements to customers

· Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions

Experience:

· W.E.T.T Certified(Wood Energy Technology Transfer (WETT)

· Working safely at roof top heights

· Familiarity with tile laying and flooring installation for chimney hearths

· Proficiency in using hand tools for various chimney repair tasks

· Experience in caulking for chimney surrounds

· Ability to read and interpret schematics for chimney systems

· Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques for chimney crown repairs
