JOB BRIEF

This Full-Time Hourly position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager. Guaranteed work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Steel Fire is a fast-paced organization that requires a motivated person to help us achieve our ambitious customer service goals.

The Warehouse Order Picker role is ideal for those who love to work independently and stay active while being supported by a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. In this role, successful candidates will safely and accurately pick orders of life safety products supporting that ship across North America.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of order picking experience and has a strong track record of achieving department goals. You are a detail-oriented person that takes great pride in picking accurately and quickly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure items are accurately and efficiently picked and identified to avoid discrepancies
• Inventory Counts
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Always maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Label and Pack orders consistent with our brand image

REQUIREMENTS

• Punctual, reliable and willing to put the time in to get the job done
• Comfortable lifting weights up to 60 lbs
• Counter-balance experience is an asset
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ Years of Warehouse Operations Experience
• Completed a Secondary School Diploma or GED Equivalent

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will consist of an hourly wage and year-end bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan.
