Electrical Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Powertec Electric. The ideal candidate will possess a valid electrical license in Manitoba and have a proven track record in managing electrical projects from initiation to completion. As a Project Manager, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Collaborate with contractors to understand project requirements and develop project plans
- Coordinate with internal teams to allocate resources and ensure timely project delivery
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that arise
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and ensure compliance with specifications

- Maintain and build relationships with general contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed
- Prepare project reports, including progress updates and financial summaries
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs

Experience:
- Proven experience in electrical project management
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems installations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in project management software is an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
- Solid understanding of project implementation methodologies and risk management strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
